Pastor Philip Barnes

Philip and his wife, Kim, have been sharing in God’s ministry for over sixteen years. His call from God has been a simple one. Become all things to all people so that by all possible means people might be saved. Getting to that place has been difficult, but through it all God has been faithful.

Philip, Kim, and their whole family share a passion for fresh, out of the box ideas. With a love for drama, fantasy, dance, snails, family, games, and Super Evil Kung-Fu Monkeys the entire Barnes family knows that the scope and imagination of a person helps to heighten their awe and respect for the creative power of an almighty God. It is because of their love for Christ that Pastor Philip felt called to start a church that would creatively walk through the redemption story.  He knows the gap between the best of us and Christ is so large that we cannot do enough good things to get to Jesus. But when we humble ourselves like a child, Christ’s presence will become clear to us and we can know Him better.

Philip and Kim met at Oklahoma Baptist University, where both graduated in 1995.  Philip has gone on to minister in five different churches and eventually completed his master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Kim is a sophomore English teacher for Bethany High School.  They married in July ’94, and have since had three wonderful children, Ransom, Tait, and Kambry.  Philip and his family are excited about the future that God has for them.  And are looking forward to seeing God move in All Things Fellowship.
